Rooted in something real
We make plant-based goods the slow way, because the ground beneath them deserves it.
Solum means soil. Everything we make starts there, and everything we make should be able to return to it.
A kitchen table, and a very full recycling bin.
Solum began in 2018 with a batch of cold-pressed oil, poured into reused glass for a few friends. They asked for more. Then their friends did, and it became clear that people wanted products that worked without asking them to look the other way.
We still formulate in small batches, still know our growers by name, and still say no to any ingredient we can’t trace back to the ground it came from.
Four things we won’t compromise on
Plants first
Every formula is plant-derived and vegan, with nothing tested on animals.
Traceable always
We publish where each key ingredient is grown, and who grows it.
Made to last
Quality that earns a place on your shelf, and packaging that returns or refills.
